It all began with a Kodak Brownie....

 

  The Church of the Holy Redeemer. ...at the petrol prices!!! Local pharmacy. Poppleton Road Primary School. One of the very few buildings in York hit by bombs in the Second World War. Water End shops. The Fire Station.

 During a recent spell of very hot weather staying at home seemed to be the best policy. These pictures were taken within 3 metres of the back door!!

 The lake and house at Cragside, a National Trust property near Rothbury in Northumberland.
