It all began with a Kodak Brownie....

 The coastline is very rocky and jagged. This is a view back down the Solway Firth. The approaching storm. 

 Of course there is more to the village than the harbour. There are varied buildings which are mostly well cared for and some of which are brightly painted... but not all.  ...and there are good views of the Isle of Man too. More of that in a later blog. 

The Isle of Whithorn is the closest point of the mainland to the Isle of Man... more of that in a later post but this time - the harbour.
