It all began with a Kodak Brownie....

 Brimham Rocks in North Yorkshire is owned by the National Trust and contains some fascinating natural stone structures. 

 The weather was very dull but autumn had come at Studley Royal near Ripon.

 The title of this blog goes back to the beginning of my photography so as I have been delving into my archives I thought I would treat you to some pictures taken at a motor bike scramble on Cannock Chase in the late 1960s... remember, all these guys are 50+ years older now!!! And finally a great selection of 1960 motor cars in the "car park".

 A recent walk added a few more images to my project documenting the local area and the changes which happen there.  Across the railway.  The gates of the old school demolished a few years ago.  The beginnings of yet another housing estate. 

These images were taken on a wet afternoon when there was little else to take!! I could try to fool you by saying that they have great meaning but..... Wet summer afternoon.  Through a glass darkly. Explosion. Shattered.

We have recently discovered that we have a regular visitor to our garden... a fox, on one occasion two foxes.  Colour courtesy of the Photoshop Colorize filter.
